Boro: Hand Sanded Aluminum

Pina Zangaro's Boro line of aluminum boxes and cases features a unique handsanded finish. The aluminum on the Boro is first grained and then sanded by hand in a smooth circular pattern, giving it the appearance of a circular grain. A thin coat of lacquer is then applied to the exterior surface. The interiors are straight grained, without lacquer.
